The prices may vary but on average, you can expect to pay around $150 to $250 for a four- to six-week class.

Do I work with leather? Not really but I know someone who does. He loves to make all sorts of things out of leather. In fact he spends most of his free time in his garage working away on these little projects. I notice though that most of his projects were just left hanging in the garage. After spending about an hour looking and reading he got the idea he could sell his products for a little money. Just exactly what I wanted him to figure out.

Next thing I knew he was talking to people about his new business venture and how he could have fun while making money. With Christmas quickly approaching, obviously a great benefit of leather crafting is the ability to create some personalized gifts for some of your loved-ones. I have found that such gifts are appreciated immensely. For one to take the time and put forth the effort for such an endeavor shows a great appreciation for that person. The one receiving the present is aware not only of the value of the item (hand-crafted leather products are often expensive) but the sacrifice of time and labor taken to produce such a good. It's truly a labor of love!

There are many other benefits to the leather crafting hobby. I will touch on more of these in the near future.
